Arafin Rafi

I come from a Computer Science background, where my curiosity about how software works gradually evolved into a passion for ensuring its quality and reliability. This led me to build my career in Software Quality Assurance.

Currently, I am working as a Software Engineer in Test at Craftsmen, contributing as an augmented resource for Mimir (Norway). In this role, I collaborate with international teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, focusing on both functional accuracy and overall user experience.

Previously, I worked at Era Infotech Limited as an Associate QA Engineer, where I gained hands-on experience in testing banking, non-banking, and ERP systems, building strong domain knowledge and understanding complex business workflows.

Alongside my full-time roles, I have also worked as a freelance QA tester, where I helped clients test web applications, identify critical bugs, and improve overall product quality. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and deliver value in diverse project environments.

Over time, I have developed hands-on experience in manual testing, API testing, and automation using tools like Selenium, Appium, and Playwright. I enjoy exploring edge cases, identifying critical issues, and continuously improving testing processes.

Beyond technical skills, I value clear communication, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of business requirements. My goal is to grow as a well-rounded QA professional and contribute to building scalable, reliable, and user-focused software systems.
